Job summary

Corewell Health's Royal Oak Hospital seeks a Hospitality Associate to support patients, families and guests across the campus. You will help with information requests, assist with transportation and Lost & Found, and participate in event planning for celebrations.

You will work with clinical and support teams to resolve issues, ensure a welcoming environment, and provide service recovery when needed. This role emphasizes patient-centered service and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Some college required.
• 2 years of relevant experience.
• College degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Present an excellent first impression to customers at reception.
• Provide Hospital way-finding for patients and visitors.
• Assist patients and families with information needs and resources for problem resolution.
• Maintain clean, welcoming lobby areas and entrances.
• Coordinate with Security & Valet teams for transportation and traffic at hospital entrances.
• Perform Service Recovery and conflict resolution for unhappy guests in coordination with Service Excellence.
• Round hospital and campus to locate wheelchairs and scooters; keep them clean and ready for use.
• Support event planning and execution for weddings, baby showers, birthdays, and celebrations for patients and families.
