Job summary

ADVENT in Appleton, Wisconsin is seeking a Patient Services Representative to welcome patients, check in using the EHR, and coordinate sleep study devices. You will support scheduling, insurance verification, and daily clinic operations to ensure a smooth patient journey.

The role requires at least 1 year in a medical setting, strong communication, and proficiency with EHRs and MS Office. The position is full-time with standard business hours and occasional coverage in Green Bay and Plover.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in a medical or healthcare setting.
• Strong communication and customer-focused mindset.
• Proficient with EHR systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and check them in using the EHR system.
• Coordinate and order sleep study devices and upload reports.
• Review upcoming schedules to confirm insurance and patient documentation.
• Schedule appointments and manage patient flow for a smooth clinic experience.
• Answer incoming calls and provide overflow support to the call center.
• Open and close the clinic following established protocols.
• Ensure proper documentation, process payments, and support daily clinic operations.
• Order medical supplies and pharmaceuticals as needed.
• Room patients.
• Safety and sanitation of clinic.
