Job summary

Solis Mammography is seeking a PRN Patient Service Representative to greet patients, register information, and handle payments at our Rowlett, Texas center. This role supports ongoing operations and coverage for PTO, with shifts including weekday hours and two Saturdays per month.

The position requires familiarity with RIS systems, basic cash handling, and strong customer service skills to ensure a smooth patient experience in a high-touch setting.

Qualifications

• Two years of healthcare registration or customer service experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of cash handling.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients professionally and collect required information.
• Register patients including demographic and insurance details in RIS.
• Explain forms and assist with completion, paper or tablet.
• Process paperwork and maintain confidentiality of records.
• Collect patient payments and verify insurance when needed.
• Schedule and reschedule patient appointments and manage daily reconciliation.
