Job summary

Solis Mammography is seeking a Patient Service Representative PRN (As Needed) to greet patients, register them, and handle payments at the front desk in Flower Mound, TX. This role emphasizes compassionate service and accurate data entry in the RIS system.

The position requires strong communication, basic math, and familiarity with Microsoft Office; RIS software experience is a plus. This is a PRN, on-site opportunity at our Flower Mound center.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in healthcare registration or patient-facing customer service preferred.
• Basic cash handling knowledge.
• Basic medical terminology knowledge preferred.
• Ability to read, write and comprehend basic instructions and correspondence.
• Ability to perform simple calculations and sit/stand for long periods.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite; RIS software knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and act as the first point of contact.
• Register patients, input demographic and insurance information into RIS, verify data accuracy.
• Explain forms and assist with form completion on paper or tablet.
• Process paperwork and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Collect patient payments and verify benefits when needed.
• Schedule and reschedule appointments; manage daily invoice reconciliation.
• Participate in front office training and adhere to policies.
