Job summary

Nemours seeks a Patient Service Representative II for the Newark Primary Care office, full time. Provide service excellence by performing designated outpatient visit processes, verifying demographics and financial information, and ensuring patient readiness for appointments.

You will work with care teams to improve service quality, coordinate check-in/out tasks, collect co-pays, and support the MyNemours system. A positive attitude and basic computer skills are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 3–6 months of job-related experience.
• Computer/typing skills required; EPIC experience preferred.
• Clerical experience in a physician's office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and families at outpatient visits using AIDET protocol.
• Verify demographics, insurance, and referrals; collect co-pays.
• Schedule follow-up appointments and manage check-in/out processes.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
• Reconcile payments and complete end-of-day reports.
