CLS Health is seeking a Patient Service Representative I to serve as the first point of contact for patients. You will greet visitors, verify insurance and personal data, collect co-pays, and ensure referrals are in the chart before visits.

Responsibilities include maintaining accurate patient records, handling cash reconciliations, addressing patient concerns professionally, and performing other administrative duties to support a smooth patient experience at our Houston facility.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in a medical office or customer service environment preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer applications.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance billing is preferred.

Aufgaben

• Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and welcoming manner.
• Verify patient information, including insurance coverage and personal information.
• Collect co-pays and other fees from patients at the time of service.
• Ensure referrals are in the patient's chart before the appointment.
• Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy and up-to-date information.
• Count cash box and complete cash reconciliation forms; sign off on reports.
• Handle patient complaints and resolve issues professionally.
• Perform other administrative tasks as needed.
