Riverside Medical Clinic invites applications for a Patient Experience Liaison (Non-RN) to support the Call Center and Practice with exceptional patient service. The role requires maintaining confidentiality, adapting to flexible work schedules, and upholding productivity standards while navigating referrals.

The position emphasizes professional appearance, emotional stability, and ability to manage patient information with accuracy. Prior medical office experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; good written and verbal communication skills; typing, general clerical skills and excellent telephone skills; medical terminology knowledge and two years medical office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer all incoming calls promptly with a professional greeting that includes the company name and staff name.
• Maintain defined performance metrics as outlined in productivity standards.
• Schedule, cancel, and reschedule patient appointments following official guidelines.
• Verify and update patient information in the system as part of registration.
• Ensure patient records are properly updated and entered into the computer.
• Take messages for staff and providers and route per policy.
• Assist in cross-training clinic specialties to ensure coverage.
• Process referrals and schedule patients from referrals or orders.
• Orient new patients to Riverside Medical Clinic and explain financial policies.
• Handle appointment requests and related tasks; perform other duties as assigned.
