Job summary

Select Medical in Sun City, AZ is seeking a Patient Service Specialist to manage front-desk operations at our outpatient physical therapy center. You will greet patients, register them, explain visit steps, and help schedule appointments to ensure a smooth check-in and checkout.

This full-time role offers Monday–Friday hours, $18.00–$22.00 per hour, and benefits including mentorship, generous PTO, medical/dental/vision coverage, and a company 401(k).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year of Medical Office Experience.
• 1 year of Front Desk Experience.
• Preferred Insurance Verification Experience.
• Health care experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about their visit and next appointment.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and by phone.
• Maintain communication with affiliated offices, insurers, and the care team.
• Collect co-pays, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance verifications.
