Job summary

Select Medical's Midwest City outpatient physical therapy center is hiring a Patient Service Specialist to greet and register patients, schedule appointments, and handle co-pays and verifications. This full-time front desk role supports both patient and operational needs and offers mentorship and a clear path for growth.

Starting pay is $15.00 per hour, with benefits including medical/dental, a 401(k) plan with company matching, and generous PTO. Schedule is Monday-Friday, with varying shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 Year of Front Desk Experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about what to expect during their visit and information about their next appointment as they check out
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone
• Regular communication with parties such as attorney offices, insurance companies and translation companies, market operational leaders, and business development team
• Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications
