Solis Mammography in East Norriton, PA is seeking a Patient Service Representative to be the friendly first contact for patients. You will greet patients, gather information, register them in the RIS, and post payments, while ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

In this role you’ll handle patient payments, insurance verification when needed, and scheduling. Excellent customer service and basic math are essential in a fast-paced front-office environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required or equivalent.
• Two years healthcare registration or customer service experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of cash handling.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions and short correspondence.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations; ability to sit/stand for long periods.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite; RIS software knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients in a professional and friendly manner.
• Register patients with demographic and insurance information in the RIS and verify accuracy of existing information.
• Explain forms to patients and assist with form completion.
• Process paperwork by scanning documents and maintaining confidentiality.
• Collect patient payments and explain benefits; verify insurance when necessary.
• Schedule and reschedule patients; generate daily invoice journal and reconcile payments.
• Participate in front office training and uphold policies and procedures.
