CareNow urgent care, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a Patient Care Representative in Nashville. You will check-in patients, answer calls, verify insurance, and ensure accurate paperwork to support patient care.

This role emphasizes patient-centered service, teamwork, and using multiple computer programs. A year of clinical experience is preferred and BLS within 30 days is required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of clinical experience in a patient care setting is preferred.
• Obtain BLS certification within 30 days of start required.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to work with multiple computer programs.

Responsibilities

• Check-in patients in a timely manner and follow Web Check-in procedures.
• Answer clinic phone calls and provide information or refer questions as needed.
• Verify insurance in a timely and accurate manner.
• Follow the occupational client’s preference card and procedures.
• Review patient paperwork to ensure completeness and collect insurance/demographic information.
• Complete Daily Balance Checklist after each shift, ensuring all payments are accounted for.
