Job summary

CareNow is seeking a Patient Representative to join our clinic team in Lenexa, KS. This role focuses on front-desk patient interactions, accurate insurance verification, and maintaining patient records with attention to detail.

You will handle check-in procedures, answer calls, verify demographic and insurance information, and ensure payments are documented. This position emphasizes customer service and multi-system software proficiency in a fast-paced urgent-care environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year of clinical experience in a patient care setting is preferred.
• Obtain BLS certification within 30 days of start required.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to work with multiple computer programs.

Responsibilities

• Checks-in patients in a timely manner. Ensures all Web Check-in procedures are followed
• Answers phone calls to the clinic and provides information or refers questions to others as needed
