Covenant Health Ministry in Lewiston, ME seeks a Patient Service Representative to be the primary contact for patients and practices in the community. You will coordinate ancillary services and act as a conduit between patients and providers.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• Minimum of one year direct experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; proficient with computers and phones; English literacy required.

Responsabilidades

• Greet and assist patients, gathering demographics and insurance information.
• Collect payments due at the time of service, including copays and past-due amounts.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate with nurses to optimize patient flow and wait times.
• Communicate process and timelines to patients and notify providers as needed.
• Maintain required licenses, certifications, and annual compliance courses.
