Job summary

Starling Physicians, a VillageMD company, is hiring for a patient-facing registration role. You will greet patients, manage check-in, and support clerical tasks across multiple sites to ensure smooth patient flow.

The position requires strong customer service, clear English communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Heartsaver certification may be required after hire.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED required. Associate Degree preferred.
• Heartsaver within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors and direct them professionally.
• Manage patient flow through registration and provide excellent customer service.
• Answer phones promptly and route calls appropriately.
• Inform patients about delays and assist with comfort.
• Process payments and reconcile daily receipts.
• Scan insurance cards and verify coverage using online systems.
• Schedule appointments and manage waitlists.
• Enter orders for tests/procedures and secure pre-authorizations.
