Job summary

SolutionHealth Amherst Family Practice seeks a friendly Patient Service Representative to be the first point of contact for patients, check in/out, verify demographics and insurance, and coordinate appointments.

You will support front office operations across multiple locations, maintain accurate records, and uphold confidentiality while delivering exceptional customer service. Experience in healthcare and EPIC EMR is valued; high school diploma required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required or equivalent.
• 1 year of experience in a medical office preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of Epic EMR and medical terminology a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in a friendly, professional manner.
• Check patients in and out for appointments.
• Verify and update patient demographics, registration, and insurance information in the EMR.
• Schedule appointments and assist in coordinating patient care needs.
• Respond to patient calls and inquiries promptly and courteously.
• Communicate with providers and staff to support continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and confidentiality.
• Deliver an exceptional patient experience while connecting with the community.
• Support office operations and assist at other practice locations as needed.
