Job summary

You will handle phone triage, update medical records, and support a high-quality patient experience in a fast-paced environment, adhering to safety and policy standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year of relevant education may be substituted for one year of required work experience.
• Experience in health care settings preferred or required depending on department.
• Working knowledge of IDX/GE Centricity systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and coordinate patient flow within the practice or department.
• Register patients, collect co-pays, and explain patient responsibility for payments.
• Schedule appointments and manage test requisitions as applicable.
• Answer phones, provide triage, and relay messages to the care team.
• Update and maintain patient records and demographics in the system.
