Spire Orthopedic Partners is seeking a detail-oriented Medical Office Administrator to join our front desk team. You will register and schedule patients, verify insurance, collect co-pays and maintain accurate demographics across the patient journey.

The role supports multiple facilities, requiring excellent communication, data entry and adherence to HIPAA regulations. Office-based position with opportunities for growth and training.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1 year medical office, call center or related experience preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; basic computer and data entry skills.

Responsibilities

• Registering and scheduling patients, data entry of demographics and insurance information.
• Verify patient insurance and referrals; manage calls from patients requiring medical care.
• Check in/out patients; update demographic and insurance information; collect co-payments for cash reconciliation.
• Maintain appointment scheduling according to office policies; input information into systems.
• Review patient accounts for delinquencies; liaise with accounts team on overdue payments.
• Coordinate with hospitals, rehabilitation centers and other facilities regarding patient care.
• Schedule diagnostic tests and follow-up appointments; assist physicians as needed.
• Perform administrative tasks and provide support to managers and leads.
