Job summary

Community Health Network is seeking a Patient Service Representative to handle patient administrative needs, providing exceptional service as patients enter our facilities. The role includes checking in patients, collecting payments, answering phones, scheduling appointments, and managing referrals.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a high school diploma or GED. Experience in healthcare is preferred, along with familiarity with electronic medical records and strong computer skills.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in a healthcare environment or 2 years of customer service experience.
• Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred.
• Strong computer skills including experience with Intranet and Internet usage.

Responsibilities

• Check patients in for appointments and collect payments.
• Answer telephones and schedule appointments.
• Verify and update patient demographic information using electronic medical record system.
