Job summary

Allergy Partners is seeking a Patient Service Representative to support front-desk activities in a busy allergy and asthma care clinic in Mt Pleasant, SC. The role includes registering patients, answering phones, scheduling, and collecting payments, while ensuring accurate charting and referrals.

Ideal candidates have at least two years of medical office or customer service experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to balance cash drawers daily.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience in a medical office or customer service position.
• Proven success asking for payment, making change, and balancing a cash drawer.
• Working knowledge of practice management and electronic health record software (GE Centricity is a plus).
• Bi-lingual is a plus, not required.

Responsibilities

• Answer the telephone professionally and pleasantly; screen and direct calls and make appointments.
• Schedule patient appointments and provide scheduling options to patients.
• Collect payment at the time of service and post charges in the system.
• Balance all transactions daily according to Allergy Partners policy and procedure.
• Ensure patient charts are accurate and up to date in the EMR and practice management system.
