Job summary

Georgia Urology is seeking a Patient Coordinator who will provide outstanding care to patients and physicians by supporting the Physician Group and Clinical Staff with patient flow in a professional manner.

Responsibilities include greeting patients, checking in/out, maintaining patient data, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance and collecting payments, and ensuring HIPAA/OSHA compliance while supporting multiple locations across Georgia.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma; some college preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Healthcare setting.
• Proficiency with EMR systems and Microsoft Office.
• Valid State of Georgia driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to work at multiple Georgia Urology locations.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients with courtesy and respect.
• Check in/out patients and maintain data integrity.
• Verify patient insurance information, collect payments (co-pays, deductibles, co-insurance, past due balances).
• Schedule patient appointments and coordinate with referring offices.
• Scan patient data into the NextGen EMR system.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and OSHA standards.
