Qualifications

• High School Diploma; some college preferred.
• Minimum 2 years healthcare experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients with courtesy and respect.
• Check patients in/out upon arrival and departure.
• Maintain patient confidentiality in all transactions.
• Update, file, and maintain patient data integrity.
• Request and follow up on patient records with referring offices.
• Forward medical records to requesting physicians.
• Schedule patient appointments.
• Verify insurance information, obtaining prior authorizations, and collect payments.
• Scan patient data into the EMR system.
• Answer and make calls to confirm appointments.
• Maintain HIPAA and OSHA compliance.
• Other duties as assigned.
