Job summary

Team Rehab is seeking a patient Administrative Coordinator to be the welcoming first point of contact in our Illinois clinics. You will greet patients, verify appointments, and help with paperwork while ensuring smooth communication among patients, clinicians, and staff.

You will assist with insurance questions, update records, collect payments, and support daily operations to uphold patient privacy and confidentiality. This role offers exposure to a busy, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• No prior experience or education required.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Experience in a patient centered health care position is an advantage but is not necessary.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and verify appointments; assist with paperwork.
• Maintain 360 communication with patients, physicians, staff and follow-ups.
• Manage complex schedules and coordinate with the Physical Therapist to meet patient needs.
• Assist patients with insurance questions and explain benefits; obtain and track authorizations.
• Update EMR/billing records accurately; follow up for additional information.
• Collect copayments and process receipts and billing tasks.
• Input data from in-house research to inform clinic performance.
• Support clinic performance via management information and supplies maintenance.
• Respect patient privacy and adhere to confidentiality policies.
• Multitask in a fast-paced environment; perform additional duties as assigned.
