Job summary

Boston Children’s Hospital is seeking a Patient Experience Representative to support administrative operations and enhance the patient experience. You will coordinate services for patients and families and contribute to departmental and hospital initiatives with a focus on continuous process improvement.

Responsibilities include managing patient encounters, scheduling, triaging communications, and liaising with Financial Counseling to ensure smooth patient flow and service delivery.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work with diverse internal and external constituencies.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive and effective customer service supporting unit operations.
• Coordinate scheduling and patient encounter logistics.
• Collaborate with referring providers and practices.
• Obtain required authorizations to compile patient and staff schedules.
• Monitor daily schedule and assist with flow to clinicians and supervisors.
• Direct communication with Financial Counseling.
