Talentify is seeking a Patient Services & Rehabilitation Support Specialist for a hybrid role combining Front Desk operations with clinical support in a physical therapy setting. You will greet patients, schedule appointments, manage insurance, and support therapists during treatment sessions.

Qualifications

• Interest in physical therapy, healthcare, or patient care.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Previous customer service or healthcare experience is a plus.
• Experience with EMR and scheduling software; experience with Prompt is a plus.
• Proficient computer skills; experience with Microsoft products including Outlook, Teams, Excel, and Word is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and create a warm, welcoming environment.
• Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments efficiently.
• Manage insurance authorizations and collect co-pays.
• Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries professionally.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Communicate effectively with clinical staff to ensure all administrative requirements are completed and up to date.
• Maintain professional relationships within the organization and across business functions.
• Support front desk workflow and ensure smooth daily operations.
• Assist physical therapists with patient flow and treatment setup.
• Prepare treatment areas and maintain cleanliness of equipment.
• Guide patients through prescribed exercises (as directed by therapists).
• Monitor patient progress during sessions and report observations.
