Job summary

Summit Health Management is seeking a patient services representative to greet patients, manage registrations, verify insurance, schedule appointments and handle payments. The role emphasizes accurate data entry, timely communication and strong customer service in a fast-paced environment.

The position supports multiple office locations and may involve travel to satellite sites as needed. Prior PSR experience and proficiency with EHR are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required. Associate degree preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills in English.
• Ability to organize and perform multiple tasks in a timely manner.
• Experience with EHR and practice management systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greets visitors, patients and families professionally and directs them appropriately.
• Maintains efficient patient flow and supports registration.
• Answers phones, takes messages and delivers to the right person.
• Collects payments, posts self-pay charges and reconciles daily payments.
• Updates patient demographics, insurance info and HIPAA forms.
• Schedules appointments per department guidelines and confirms future visits.
• Performs clerical duties and supports multiple office locations as needed.
