Now Optics in West Palm Beach, FL, seeks a Doctor’s Technician to deliver outstanding customer service, support the transition from clinical to retail, and facilitate sales in a fast-paced store environment.

You will coordinate with the retail and clinical teams, perform basic pre-tests, and assist with frame and lens work while ensuring an excellent patient experience and timely orders. Join a growing national optical retailer focused on accessibility and care.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or advanced certification beyond high school required.
• 2+ years of experience delivering outstanding customer service to patients/customers.
• Strong communication skills with a diverse group of people.
• Active listening, rapport-building and empathy with patients.
• Proactive, problem-solving mindset to address concerns.
• Collaborative spirit and cordial relationships with team and patients.
• Results-driven, able to multitask, and flexible with changing business needs.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and customers entering the store and identify needs to ensure a memorable experience while promoting products and services.
• Foster a strong partnership between retail and professional services teams.
• Schedule and confirm appointments, collect history, and perform basic pre-tests and vision screenings.
• Assist management with patient issue resolution and communicate status of orders to ensure expectations are met.
• Maintain brand standards and perform light housekeeping as needed.
• Assist with lens edging, frame assembly, and ensuring accurate, timely orders.
• Monitor delivery times to customers and ensure 100% compliance.
