Geode Health is seeking a Practice Assistant for our Chapel Hill office. You will be the first point of contact, delivering exceptional patient service while supporting administrative and clinical operations.

Ideal candidates bring 1+ year in medical office settings, strong communication, and comfort with EMR systems. The role emphasizes time management, teamwork, and a patient-centered approach in a fast-paced outpatient environment.

Formación

• 1+ year of medical office or healthcare experience.
• Mental health or outpatient clinical experience preferred.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and computer skills.
• Comfortable answering the phone (firm expectation).
• Self-starter with time management.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide welcoming, compassionate patient service and front-desk support.
• Manage daily schedules, confirmations, cancellations, and waitlists.
• Coordinate patient intake, referrals, authorizations, and forms.
• Support billing tasks: collect co-pays and payments.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA and safety procedures.
