This part-time role supports the Access Center by handling calls, scheduling, and coordinating referrals while maintaining patient information accuracy and a high standard of service. The role emphasizes effective communication with patients and clinical partners, adherence to scheduling protocols, and timely escalation of issues to supervisors.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1-2 years of customer service in a contact center.
• Healthcare experience and EMR familiarity preferred.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
• Compliance-focused and quality-driven.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and schedule, reschedule, or cancel appointments.
• Verify and update patient demographic and insurance information.
• Resolve patient issues during calls when possible.
• Manage referral work queues and provide support during high volume times.
• Escalate scheduling or insurance issues to supervisor/manager.
• Meet productivity and quality standards; work with clinical partners to schedule.
• Possibly work from home per policy.
