Job summary

MUHA is seeking a Patient Experience Liaison to work with patients and families, addressing concerns and coordinating with the healthcare team to ensure a positive hospital experience. The role acts as an intermediary to resolve issues and improve overall care within the hospital setting.

Basic requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and a medical assisting program with one year of patient care experience preferred; current BLS is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited medical assisting program with one year of patient care experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to patient concerns and communicate identified issues to appropriate staff.
• Conduct targeted rounding to optimize care plans and dispositioning.
• Triages issues to management to ensure better service to patients and families.
• Perform 24-48 hour post-discharge follow-up with patients and families.
