Job summary

Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) seeks a Patient Experience Liaison to collaborate with patients and families, address concerns, and facilitate a positive hospital experience. The role interfaces with healthcare teams to resolve issues, improve service delivery, and ensure timely communication.

A high school diploma and accredited medical assisting program are preferred, with BLS certification beneficial.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited medical assisting program.
• Certified CMA/RMA or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conducts effective, targeted rounding to optimize care plan and dispositioning based on patient care needs.
• Establishes rapport with patient and family to learn priorities and communicates findings to the care team.
• Responds to complaints and concerns and communicates issues to appropriate staff.
• Works with departments to limit or resolve delays in service and informs patients/families.
• Triages issues to management to improve service delivery.
• Interacts with patients/families to reinforce satisfaction and meet experience goals.
• Assesses questions and concerns and develops plans to address needs with timely updates.
