Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Knowledge of medical office practices required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• At least two years' ambulatory healthcare experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel between practice sites as needed.
• Basic computer literacy and accuracy in data entry.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients and families professionally.
• Schedule appointments and manage inbound calls.
• Verify demographics and insurance in the EHR.
• Determine eligibility for financial assistance and obtain required docs.
• Collect patient co-payments and follow money handling procedures.
• Assist with medical record requests and respond to messages within one business day.
• Maintain waiting area cleanliness and organization.
• Participate in departmental and organizational meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
