Job summary

Qualifications

• BLS certification preferred.
• 1–2 years of equivalent experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to use an electronic medical record system to look up patient information.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors with high-quality customer service; identify patient/family needs and provide comfort and courtesy.
• Coordinate patient visits with nursing and social work staff; liaise between visitors and the healthcare team.
• Escort visitors to departments and manage lobby waiting areas while maintaining confidentiality.
• Respond to inquiries, requests for services, patient complaints, and service recovery.
• Attend required staff meetings, trainings and maintain effective team communication.
