Responsibilities

• Round inside and outside the hospital to enforce safety and policies.
• Manage lobby and waiting areas, identifying safety concerns.
• Coordinate patient visits with nursing and social work staff.
• Escort visitors into patient care areas and maintain confidentiality.
• Serve as liaison for inquiries, service requests, and complaints.
• Respond to outside calls regarding patient condition and location.
• Assist in interpreting policies to staff, patients, families and public.
• Assist in training volunteers and participate in required meetings.
