Job summary

Ayr Wellness is seeking a Team Lead to support Florida dispensary operations, driving customer service, training staff, and ensuring regulatory compliance. The role partners with the Store Manager to hire and develop a motivated team of patient advocates dedicated to accurate inventory, secure cash handling, and a compliant, patient-friendly environment.

The position requires 1–3 years of relevant experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to pass a Level 2 background check.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be 21 years of age and able to pass a Level 2 background check.
• Experience in retail or dispensary operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily dispensary operations and assist Store Manager with team leadership.
• Provide excellent customer service and coach team members.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and supervise patient advocates.
• Ensure compliance with state and local rules and company SOPs.
• Capture KPIs and manage daily cash handling and reporting.
• Train staff on product knowledge, HIPAA privacy, and privacy of information.
• Schedule patient advocate staff and coordinate patient education programs.
• Maintain clean, welcoming store environment and escort patients as needed.
