Job summary

South Texas Periodontal Associates is seeking a friendly Patient Relations Coordinator to enhance the patient experience and support daily front-office operations. Previous periodontal exposure and bilingual abilities are pluses.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of dental office and/or dental insurance experience required.
• Friendly and professional with excellent customer service skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and organized.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable speaking with patients in person and over the phone.
• Able to multitask in a busy dental office.
• Periodontal experience, dual language, and active RDA license are pluses.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and provide friendly, professional customer service.
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments.
• Answer phone calls and assist with patients and referring offices.
• Verify dental insurance eligibility and benefits.
• Assist with insurance claims, pre-authorizations, and follow-up.
• Communicate patient financial responsibilities for their visits.
• Maintain accurate patient and insurance information.
• Coordinate with the team to keep the schedule full and effective.
• Assist with other front-office duties as needed.
