Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Medical Assistant Certificate or Associate’s Degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years professional experience in a clinic or medical practice.

Responsibilities

• Greets, checks-in and checks-out patients.
• Handles new and existing patient inquiries.
• Ensures patient EMR and correspondence are accurate and up-to-date in the EMR system.
• Collects and posts patient payments.
• Answers phone calls and emails relaying information and requests accurately.
• Schedules, reschedules and cancels patient appointments.
• Provides support to their assigned doctor and assists other PCCs as needed.
• Provides supplement and nutraceutical information to patients and answers questions as needed.
• Respects patient confidentiality with HIPAA/HITECH laws.
