Job summary

EyeCare Partners in the United States is seeking a Front Office Specialist to be the first point of contact and help deliver a world-class Total Patient Experience.

You will handle check-in/out, greet patients, answer calls, verify insurance, collect payments, and support a smooth patient flow across locations.

Candidates should have at least a high school diploma, one year of customer/patient interaction, and eligibility to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of customer/patient interaction experience.
• Previous medical office/optometry/ophthalmology experience preferred.
• Favorable result on background check as required by state.
• Proof of identity and right to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Embrace Total Patient Experience to build relationships with patients while delivering great service.
• Greet patients promptly, answer phones, and ensure courteous service at all times.
• Practice urgency with consideration to patient and doctor schedules.
• Double check insurance authorizations and manage flow sheets.
• Check out patients and collect payments according to procedures.
• Maintain patient flow and communicate to maximize efficiency and service.
• Complete daily reconciliations and adjust cash drawer as needed.
• Comply with HIPAA and company policies; assist with general office duties.
