Job summary

EyeCare Partners LLC is seeking a Front Office Specialist to be the first point of contact and deliver a world class Total Patient Experience. This role handles check-in/out, scheduling, and insurance verification to ensure smooth operations.

You will greet patients, answer phones, collect payments, and maintain patient flow while upholding HIPAA compliance. Prior medical office experience is preferred, with at least one year in a customer-facing role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year in a customer-facing role.
• Previous ophthalmic or medical office experience preferred.
• Must be able to provide proof of identity and right to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly and manage check-in/check-out.
• Answer phones and route calls ensuring courteous service.
• Verify insurance authorizations and accuracy of flow sheets.
• Handle payments and daily reconciliations.
• Maintain patient flow and communicate with staff to maximize efficiency.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and general office duties as assigned.
