Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Customer service experience of 1 year preferred.
• Spanish-speaking is preferred.
• Healthcare experience preferred.
• Ability to operate a multi-line telephone system.
• Knowledge of medical terminology helpful.
• Must be punctual with a professional appearance.
• On-site role in Kearny Mesa, CA.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients in person and on the phone.
• Open the office and manage reception responsibilities.
• Verify insurance information and collect co-pays; scan data into patient chart.
• Balance cash drawer at end of day.
• Use EPIC to alert providers upon patient arrival.
• Schedule efficiently to optimize provider time.
• Answer calls and route to appropriate staff.
• Maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA policies.
