Select Medical in Bowling Green, KY, is seeking a Patient Service Specialist at our outpatient physical therapy center. The role focuses on front-desk operations, greeting patients, registering them, and guiding them through their visit process.

You will schedule appointments in person and by phone, handle co-pays, process insurance verifications, and communicate with insurance and translation partners, while coordinating with clinical and administrative teams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of front desk experience.
• Experience with insurance verification.
• At least 1 year of medical office experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about visit flow and next appointment at checkout.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and by phone.
• Maintain regular communication with stakeholders including attorney offices, insurance companies and translation providers; collaborate with market leaders and business development.
• Collect co-pays, manage payer approvals and perform insurance verifications.
