Job summary

HHS in Lima, OH is seeking a friendly, compassionate culinary leader to guide our patient-focused food service team. You will ensure food quality, safety, and sanitation while building a hospitality-centered environment that supports patients and staff.

As a patient ambassador program lead, you will recruit, train, and coach staff, manage daily operations, and collaborate with nursing and hospital leadership to meet nutrition and service goals.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a team and in customer service.
• Computer experience with word processing, spreadsheets, and various software.
• Must be willing to relocate for promotion opportunities.
• Must have or be willing to obtain a valid Serve Safe certification or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership that supports a team environment that fosters morale, passion, quality, and respect
• Lead and manage team member recruiting, training, and development
• Perform daily inspections, patient rounding, assessments, coaching, and counsel team members
• Provide education to patients, families, nursing, food service, and other facility staff on nutritional needs
• Coordinate and evaluate food service standards to ensure patient satisfaction and nourishment
• Take action and provide excellent customer service to correct any issues that occur
• Implement, manage, and maintain the patient ambassador program for high-quality service
• Collaborate with department, facility, and company leadership to achieve goals
• Stays informed on patient satisfaction updates, current trends
• Participates in departmental meetings and Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement programs, promoting collaboration and teamwork.
• Participates in patient experience workshops and projects led by the organizations
