Job summary

Eye Clinics of Michigan, an EyeCare Partners affiliate, seeks a Patient Coordinator for our Brownstown, MI location. This full-time role handles front-desk duties, insurance verification, appointment scheduling, and patient check-in/out with a focus on exceptional service.

You will work Monday–Friday 8am–5pm, with occasional early/late hours, supporting patients and coordinating with doctors and staff across involved offices.

Qualifications

• Minimum Required: High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Minimum Required: One year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service during every patient encounter, in person or via phone.
• Answer phones (external and internal); assure prompt, courteous service at all times.
• Practice urgency with patients' time, as well as Doctor's time and schedule.
• Manage patient flow in the office.
• Know and collect payments for common visits and fees.
• Complete daily reconciliations / close day / countdown cash drawer.
• Perform general office duties and cleaning as assigned by manager.
