Ascension Saint Thomas Urgent Care in Springfield, TN is seeking experienced Medical Receptionists to join our team. You will greet patients, activate files, and support both patients and medical staff in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and familiarity with basic computer software and electronic medical records. Prior medical office experience is preferred, with full-time schedules and competitive benefits.

Responsibilities

• Welcome all patients and visitors by greeting them in person, answer inquiries and guide them through registration.
• Answer multi-line phones, filing, faxing, scanning documents and completing daily patient callbacks.
• Check in and discharge patients, assist clinical staff and close the office at the end of each shift.
• Collect insurance information, verify demographics, process payments, post balances and complete phone sheets.
• Maintain a neat, clean work environment and professional appearance.
• Adhere to all health and safety procedures.
