FastMed in Cary, NC is seeking a Patient Services Advocate to welcome patients at the clinic entrance, answer calls, gather information, and resolve inquiries to create a seamless first impression.

The role includes managing patient queues, assisting with feedback collection, and accurately recording charges and payments for daily reconciliation. Requires a high school diploma and excellent organizational skills; healthcare billing knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Two years' experience in a medical front office or customer service setting preferred.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to stay calm and supportive in busy or stressful situations.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients on arrival and answer incoming calls, gathering information to determine needs and provide resolutions.
• Inform patients about wait times and the visit process using the queuing system.
• Assist with collecting patient feedback and recording charges and payments.
• Prepare the daily deposit and reconciliation log to support billing.
