Job summary

FastMed is seeking a Patient Services Advocate in Roxboro, NC to deliver excellent customer service from check-in to check-out. You will greet patients, answer calls, manage queues, collect feedback, and assist with billing and deposits. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with 2 years in a medical front office or customer service role preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years’ experience in a medical front office or customer service setting preferred.
• Bonus points for medical/insurance billing knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients on arrival and answer incoming calls, gathering information to determine callers’ needs and provide resolutions.
• Manage patient queuing to inform waiting times and streamline the visit.
• Assist with patient feedback collection.
• Record charges and payments to support billing and prepare daily deposit & reconciliation log.
