Job summary

FastMed is seeking a PRN Admin Support Worker in Greensboro, NC to warmly welcome patients, answer inquiries, collect essential information, and support front desk operations for a seamless patient experience.

You will help manage patient queues, inform waiting times, assist with billing tasks, and contribute to a compassionate, hospitality-driven environment at our urgent care clinics. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills are essential; medical front office experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Two years' experience in a medical front office or customer service setting preferred.
• Bonus points if you have medical/insurance billing knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Greeting patients and answering calls; gathering information to determine callers' needs and provide resolutions.
• Utilizing patient queuing process to inform waiting times and ensure efficient visits.
• Assisting with patient feedback collection.
• Accurately recording charges and payments to support patient billing, and preparing the daily deposit & reconciliation log.
