Job summary

Schweiger Dermatology Group in New London is seeking a dedicated Patient Coordinator to support front office duties, assist patients, providers, and staff, and ensure a smooth patient experience. No experience required, but interest in healthcare and teamwork helps you thrive with a flexible schedule.

This full-time role offers 30+ hours per week, with Monday–Friday availability and rotating Saturdays, within hours of 7am–7pm.

Qualifications

• Healthcare experience is required.
• Medical receptionist experience is preferred.
• Experience using EMR and scheduling systems is preferred.
• Must be computer savvy and familiar with MS Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Handle all incoming calls, scheduling tasks, and online leads with a positive caller experience.
• Promote a professional and welcoming atmosphere to enhance patient care.
• Understand provider to patient flow and anticipate next steps.
• Perform inventory and stocking of supplies and equipment as requested.
• Attend all in-house trainings and continued education opportunities.
