Qualifications

• Front desk experience in a medical setting preferred.
• Proficient in basic computer tasks and EMR systems.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, customers, and vendors in a friendly, professional manner and be the primary contact for patient interactions.
• Answer calls, respond to inquiries, and manage emails professionally.
• Schedule and optimize provider appointments, manage cancellations and reschedules.
• Confirm appointments and send reminders to reduce no-shows.
• Verify insurance eligibility and patient demographics; enter data into EMR accurately.
• Explain coverage and patient financial responsibility clearly.
• Prepare patient charts and documents for visits to support flow.
• Process charges and payments in EMR and monitor accounts for accuracy.
• Run reports to ensure charges are billed and up to date.
• Monitor daily patient flow and adjust schedules as needed for efficiency.
