Piedmont Newton Hospital is seeking a Patient Representative to respond to patients, family members, and visitors' requests and concerns. The role involves guiding individuals to information, offering general assistance, resolving complaints, and referring to appropriate resources.

Responsibilities include facilitating problem resolution, coordinating with departments, and providing administrative support to the director to ensure smooth patient experiences.

Formación

• HS Diploma or GED required; substitutions allowed for additional work experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in social/public relations fields preferred.
• 1 year hospital experience with patient-facing interaction required; or 5 years total with substitutions.

Qualifications

Education

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required or
• Four (4) years of additional related work experience can be substituted for HS Diploma or GED requirement. Required
• Bachelor’s Degree with an emphasis in social and behavior science or public relations-related field Preferred

Work Experience

• 1 year hospital experience in a position requiring interaction with multiple departments. Required or
• 4 years additional related work experience can be substituted for degree requirement (5 years total). Required
• Patient Representative experience Preferred
