Job summary

Professional PT is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to greet patients, answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage registrations with a patient-centered approach. The role supports billing, insurance discussions, and balances collection in a fast-paced clinic in New York.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, healthcare or customer service experience, and strong communication and organizational skills. A monthly performance bonus and NY Sick Law benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior experience in a customer service or administrative role, preferably in healthcare.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients.
• Answer phones.
• Schedule patient appointments.
• Complete new patient registration and data entry.
• Discuss insurance benefits, authorization requirements and payment responsibilities.
• Collect patient balances (copay/deductible/coinsurance).
• Perform standard day-to-day clinical administrative responsibilities.
